Why are the trees dying?

Anyone can see that our trees are suffering from stress and early death. All but the experts and responsible authorities...

I took a walk in the surroundings of my home south of Stockholm to take some photos of trees that obviousely are not doing so well. There are some general remarks I would like to do.

  1. The trees seem to be stressed and are growing at a rate I have never seen before. Young leaf trees can grow 3 meters from May to September, or around 1 mm per hour.
  2. Young spruce trees start to produce cones much earlier in life than is normal. And the cones are overwelmingly found at the top of the tree in large amounts. (A sign of good health?...)
  3. A large percentage of the oaks are really dying and have lost all leaves on the whole or parts of the tree, especially at the top.
  4. Many birches started to lose their leaves much earlier than normal this year and especially at the top. This summer was wet so there was no problem with water supply.

Take a look at my photos. Just by coincidence many of the damaged trees are found in the vicinity of mobile masts. May-be the masts have been painted with some poisonous paint?

Question to Radiation Safety Authority. And the answer.

Also SLU has given a comment.
